Hi, I'm Chris Bostwick — a tattoo artist based in Mount Vernon, Iowa, operating out of Ink Expression at 114 1st Street SW.

I've been tattooing for 4 years with a focus on American Traditional and bold custom work. My goal is simple: create tattoos that are clear, balanced, and built to last. Strong lines, thoughtful composition, no unnecessary noise.

American Traditional is what I keep coming back to — it's a style engineered for longevity. Bold outlines, solid color, timeless imagery. A well-executed traditional tattoo looks just as sharp 20 years from now as it does the day it's done. That's the standard I hold every piece to.

Every design is drawn custom for each client. I don't pull flash off the wall and call it a day — I want to build something that actually means something to you and fits your body well.
