Do you take a deposit to schedule a tattoo appointment?
Yes. I take a $50.00 non-refundable deposit that comes off the price of the tattoo. It is not an additional fee tacked onto the price of the tattoo.
Are you cash only?
I take Cash, Credit Card, Venmo, Cash app and Apple Pay.
How do I book an appointment or consultation with you?
First, you could send me an email using the inquiry form provided on this here website telling me as much about the tattoo you want to get. I will respond to you promptly to meet up for a consult or set a date for your appointment. I typically respond within the first 24 hours if not sooner!
Second, you could send me a request through my booking software here. You will need to enter your first and last name, phone number, and email then write a description of the tattoo you want, as well as attach a reference picture or sketch and wait for my reply. I am typically pretty quick to respond with in the first 24 hours or even sooner!
Third, call the shop and speak to me directly to set up a time to meet and talk about your ideas. (319) 895-4071
What should I do if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment?
Easy-peasy! Just contact me as soon as you know you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment. I am happy to provide you with dates and times to reschedule. I will not refund your $50.00 dollar deposit. If you need to reschedule three times in a row (I GET IT, SHIT HAPPENS) I will require an additional $50.00 deposit.
Why do you take a $50.00 deposit?
The reason I take a $50.00 deposit is because that fee covers the work and time it takes me to design your tattoo. Often times for custom tattoo work there is extensive pre-planning and drawing that happens before you get to the shop for your appointment.
Can I bring a friend?
Yes, please bring a pal of your choosing. We like to limit your guests to one additional person as our shop can get crowed quickly.
Can I bring water and snacks?
Yes please bring a water bottle with a lid that closes tightly and any snack you desire. There will be plenty of time for water and snack breaks. We also have a water cooler at the shop for you too!
Walk me through step by step how to use your booking link
Sure thing! It can be weird to use a new process on the interwebs, I will provide some pictures of the process with short descriptions about what info to provide:
First things first here is the BOOKING LINK this will open in a separate tab
1.) Enter first and last name.
2.) You will receive a code via text message, enter the code.
3.) Select Tattoo Session if you have an idea for a tattoo and would like me to design it or select Flash Tattoo to look at my pre-drawn tattoo flash all of which is available at discounted rates.
4.) Tell me approx. how big you would like your tattoo to be
5.) Tell me how you would like you tattoo finished
6.) Add a few more personal details
7.) Upload a reference photo or crude sketch I love to see your drawings
8.) You can add any notes that you would like me to see here
9.) Submit your tattoo request and I will respond as soon as I see it come through and reach out if I have any further questions!
